Our commitments
What we promise you.
These aren't just words. They're the operating principles we're held to by Nigerian law.
Transparent pricing, always.
We show you the full cost of your purchase — monthly payment, total interest, and total repayment — before you commit to anything. No surprises. No hidden fees.
We will never harass you.
We will not call, text, or visit your family, friends, employer, or neighbours to recover a debt. Ever. Our only collection method is the direct debit mandate you authorised when you signed up.
We don't touch your contacts.
XCred does not request, access, or store your phone contact list. We use your BVN, bank statement, and credit bureau data for assessment — nothing else.
Your data is yours.
Your personal information is used only for credit assessment and loan servicing. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Collections are fair and authorised.
Repayments are collected only through the Remita direct debit mandate you set up during onboarding. We debit your linked bank account on your chosen repayment date — nothing more.
You have the right to complain.
If you're unhappy with how we've treated you, you can raise a complaint with us. If we don't resolve it to your satisfaction within 5 business days, you can escalate directly to the FCCPC.
