The service
XCred is a buy now, pay later platform. We connect Nigerian consumers with CBN-licensed lenders and partner merchants. Loan terms are disclosed to you in full before you accept any credit agreement.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, resident in Nigeria, and have a valid BVN and bank account to use XCred for credit. The marketing website is open to anyone.
Your obligations
You agree to provide accurate information, repay on the schedule you accepted, and notify us promptly if your circumstances change. Misuse of the platform may result in suspension and reporting to credit bureaus.
Liability
We provide the service as-is, with the care you would expect from a regulated financial-services provider. We are not liable for losses outside our reasonable control, but nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in Nigerian courts unless we agree to alternative dispute resolution.
